Rebecca has studied and completed examinations in Tap, Theatrical (Classical/Jazz/Tap) and the new Modern Jazz syllabus under the CSTD (The Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing).

 

She has completed VCE Dance Styles, Units 1, 2, 3 & 4 (Tap/Classical/Modern Contemporary/Anatomy/Dance History).

 

Rebecca was also trained in Cecchetti (ISTD) Classical Ballet

 

She participates in various workshops, intensives, lectures and classes to keep up to date with new styles and techniques.  She has also completed various Masterclasses with industry professionals such as Jason Samuels Smith, Dormeisha Sumbry-Edwards, Lamine Sonko, Roxanne Rout and Ben Read.

Rhoni trained at Wendon Dance Academy in Mount Waverley.  She has completed her FATD examinations in Classical, Jazz and Tap and was also trained in Classical Ballet under the RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) Syllabus.  Rhoni trained at Bartuccio’s Dance, Modelling and Promotion Centre and has worked in shows in America and Japan.  She was the FATD Australian Jazz Champion for 4 years; came second in the worlds in Jazz FATD and was the FATD South Pacific Champion in Jazz.  Rhoni has taught at Wendon Dance Academy, Granada Dance Studios and Beaudesert Dance Centre (QLD), and has taught Classical Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Song and Dance/Cabaret and Ballet Theory.  This is Rhoni’s third year with RSD.

 

Lizbeth Calingasan Cert IV PA

Teaches Junior Street and Inter/Advanced Street

Liz trained at Dance World 301 and has Certificate IV in Performing Arts.  Liz has taught at many Primary & Secondary Schools, TAFE’s, Universities, and Dance Schools.  She has performed at many corporate events and Nightclubs such as Odeon, Salt, Billboards, QBH, , and the Mercury Lounge.  Liz is a principal dancer and director of Rewind Dance Productions and is a member of The Movement Hip Hop Crew.  She also performs with Wicked Force Breakers and teaches through Unitd Styles.  Rewind Dance Productions represented Australia in the World Hip Hop Championships 2007 in America and placed 8th in the world. This is Liz’s third year with RSD.

Teaches Beginner Street

Rhys is in his ninth year as a student at Rebecca’s School of Dance.  This is Rhys’s second year teaching the Beginner Street class and he was an assistant teacher for 2 years.  He has trained in Tap, Jazz, Funk, Rhythm Tap, Hip Hop and Street and has studied and completed examinations in the CSTD Modern Jazz Syllabus and the CSTD Tapping Syllabus.
